Our Mission

Support and strengthen the community by providing emergency shelter and supportive services to people who are homeless or at risk and to advocate for collaborative, locally driven solutions to end homelessness.

Our Services

Cove Shelter is Transylvania County’s only low-barrier emergency shelter. We operate seasonally from November 1 through March 31.

We serve adults experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, and food insecurity. We provide a hot meal, overnight shelter, and access to a hot shower, clothing, and laundry facilities.
